Adobe AIR is now one of most innovative application platform for developers to build rich Internet applications that run outside the browser on multiple operating systems.
There are apps for everything from business to shopping to image management to managing music.
And there are also some applications that are useful for webmasters, authors and administrators of blogs. These includes Google apps, image editors, social networks, feedreaders, comment moderators and other useful apps for blogs.
We have selected more than 10 AIR apps to help you on your design blog workflow.
Shrink-O-Matic
Shrink O’Matic is an AIR application to easily (batch) resize (shrink) images. It handles JPGs, GIFs and PNGs. This can be used in resizing the photos you will use for your post.
ImageSizer
A simple application to resize images in batches. It includes settings for quality and a crop tool for individual images.
Splashup Light
An image editor for simple image enhancements. It allows you to adjust levels, contrast, brightness, hue, saturation and more.
Websnapshot

DiggTop is an application for Windows and MacOSX that lets you view a blended list of your favourite Digg topic or keyword feeds. This can be use for one of social media’s high traffic generator.
WordPress Comment Moderator
Moderator is a WordPress Plugin and associated desktop application, built using Adobe AIR, that allows you to view and moderate comments from your desktop. This would be useful as you don’t need to access you wp-admin to moderate the comments.

Doomi is a simple to-do-list application that designed to stay out of your way, be easy to use and look pretty. This would be useful in creating and managing your list like task for creating new post or submitting your post to social sites.
