Artist Spotlight: Sexy Modern Art

Enter into a world of art, by Tomer Peretz. This budding artist is starting off right by having an very cool website to match his art. Created by Neo Geo Designs, TomerPeretz.com features some of the latest and coolest Flash techniques. As you enter the site, you’re greeted by some noninvasive, smooth music (that can also be turned off by clicking “off” in the bottom left corner of the page) produced by Ori Toledano.

A few original paintings fold in and out as you’re brought to the main screen. There are four different flash pages you can access via the main: About, Artwork, Links, and Contact. Check out the “Artwork” section for some examples of really sexy modern art (be aware that some paintings are NSFW).  Peretz creates more than just paintings, although that is all that is featured on his website. He is also available for photography, body painting, logo design, and more.

  • Two of the greatest things together, sex n art. Fantastique!
  • To be honest I disagree with the idea that flash encourages people to use your site. A small number will like it, but many more people will be put of a site that uses flash rather than gives them the information they are looking for
  • I think all things depend upon a good website and having a good structure and content of a website can help you more for bringing more and more customers.

I like HDR, but when it is done to the extent that a photo looks like a sketch (like the one of the paperboxes or whatever they are), that is going to far with it.
  • great collection! starting to love hdr photos..
  • they all have cool textures. I like that about them!!

ok, i know what greasemonkey is. but what is "a userscript emulator"? some kind of alternative to greasemonkey? where should i get it?

I love Wili's work - he got me into HDR though my efforts are <very> amateur in comparison.

One of the complaints I hear from fellow HDR enthusiasts is 'overdone' shots which show 'Sky Glow'. Personally I just muck around in Photomatix settings 'til I get something I like - it depends on the shot and the atmosphere I'm trying to convey.

So my question to the experts - what 'rules' do you people follow for HDR processing? Are there any formal or informal guidelines anywhere?

    Thanks!

    Bill
