Amidst multiple typhoons in Southeast Asia, miraculous rainstorms in the Middle East, rare rain in Los Angeles, we in the Northern Hemisphere are rushed into to a traditionally very wet season. What everyone runs to buy as the water starts pouring down is the always handy umbrella. Here we’ve gathered some fantastic photographs taken from underneath the umbrella’s shield.
Next time you’re outside in the rain with your umbrella, take a peek upwards. The water droplets showing through the sheer, but strong, fabric can be quiet beautiful and inspiring.
